Early bronco p/s swap

Post by Doug Comer »

I remember hearing years ago that the early bronco power steering box was a bolt on swap. Not the 78-79 the 68-77. Anyone know it this is true? Got a chance to pick up a box cheap. Usually they are very expensive. Thanks.

Doug, I owned an EB (last of them-a 76') for over 20 years and do believe your right if memory serves me right.
It's a guaranteed good investment either way though as the cores for them usually go to $400.

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!
Many Ford bumps / one 76' EB / and several dents through the years.
A lot of "oddball" Ford parts collected from working on them for 34 years now!
