High tranny tunnel

Post by gohunt »

I have a '67 4x4 4 speed, step side that I'm doing a cab swap on. I the donor truck was an '67 F250 camper special auto tranny, so low hump. I'm gonna have to cut the hump out of the donor cab and install a high hump. I've found a high hump from a '79 f100....will this fit in my '67 just fine? Thx

Well, nothing is wrong with it. I have this donor cab in my basement and want to go as far with it as I can before involving my truck. Since what I've seen is not too expensive I thought I might go ahead and get one, use it as a template to make the cut for the high jump.

Best bet there is just use the bumpside tunnel.
you already have it and its not that difficult to use it. Saves you money and time for doing just a bit of work.
