1967 F100 4WD front axle tube seals

Post by JoeValdez »

Hello Forum, I am in need of assistance on finding Hi-Performance upgrade parts for my 1967 Ford F-100 4WD.
I am currently working on my Dana 44 front axle seals replacement. Now I want to upgrade the old OEM parts to aftermarket Hi- Performance upgrades. Can anyone help me find a manufacture that makes these Hi-Performance Dana 44 Axle Tube Seals? I have been to a few sites and no experts on these inner and outer tube seals.

Thanx----

i have a national seal catalog that has many lip styles as well as different lip materials, it enables me to often find a better seal than the OEM choice that is for the same size OD/ID some times it will be thicker that OEM. But often there is room and you can double up the seals using thinner ones and in the axle application having one with the lip sealing the oil in and the second sealing the crap out is a viable option
if you have the original seal P/N a shop that carries them should be able to do the same thing for you,or you could get the catalog and do the cross reference on your own that once you have the P/N but it on Ebay :2cents:
One other thing if you go the two seal route use either a design that does not have a spring or one with a stainless steel spring for the one that is facing out so it will not fail due to possible corrosion.

Parts are not difficult to find for these axles. I just rebuilt my 67 with a Dana 44 front. Torque King 4x4 has everything.
1967 F-100 4x4 custom cab.
Another 67 F-100 4x4 custom cab.
2016 F-150 Eco-Boost 2.7 liter. (It will smoke the tires!)
1972 F-350 Sport Custom cab & chassis.
1972 F-250 Explorer Special, Camper Special.
1971 F-100 custom. 302, C-4, p.s. p.b. factory 65 amp alternator with transistorized voltage regulator.
