Insturment bezel modification

Postby randyj68 on Sun May 20, 2012 4:28 pm

Since I couldnt afford a new insturment bezel I redone mine.  I repainted  where the chrome was supposed to be with chrome paint and where it was black I put carbon fiber tape in place.....looks better than it did anyway

Looks real  good!  I did the same thing to mine. Stripped it down to bare metal, taped off the black area and painted it with chrome paint. When dry, taped off that area and painted black.

looks great, cheapest replacement I found for the 68 was in LMC at 169.00, the chrome and carbon fiber tape def was a cheaper alternative

If it doesn't work out, a fellow member replaced his viewtopic.php?f=22&t=55418&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=45 (page 4).  Came out looking great.
