It all depends on the shop. If you go asking around little tire shops you will find someone that will pass you. You will also notice if you move here that there is a lot of cars that are unfit for the road.... they get their stickers a little differently. if you go to a hot rod shop (which is plentiful here) they will point you to a place to find you a sticker. I dont think they will fail you if you go to small shops though.

Mine is choice. I shaved the wipers since it is just our toy. I like the look without them. Not on an everyday vehicle but for a "only on nice day" type I am ok. I get no problems from police here. Most just want to look the truck over with a bunch of questions. To me it's just a common sense thing. Common sense would say I will not be driving something I have this much work into when conditions would be dangerous for me. I just don't want stuck without the ability to enjoy my truck. I guess I could always just maintain an IN registration on it.

You could register your truck as an antique. You will be exempt from inspection, but i think you can only drive it so many miles a year. If they dont inspect it than how will they know how far you drove anyway?

I used a hydroboost from an astro van and corvette master cylinder, both can be found really cheap. Works great.

A went ahead and ordered a new rear bumper and brackets from Dennis Carpenter. Felt it was really missing something...

After

I had to cut a little piece of the leaf spring bracket, maybe I cut too much frame off the ends? DOnt know but it looks good to me.

Is the hydro booster from the astro van a direct bolt on. or do you have to modify it?

Not a direct bolt on, had to modify the firewall and shorten the rod length. There are pictures of it somewhere in this thread

thanks

I like the wheels. Could you tell me what the backspace on the wheels are?

No kidding I love the stance on this truck also. I'd like to achieve the same stance with the DJM dream beams. I hope this is possible. Sweet looking truck, what brand of wheels, size please and tire size also. Thanks
