Well, I'm going to miss this now. I hurt my back today, which was the final straw. Prior to that I was going to head down with a buddy, but a friend of his mother died and the funeral is Sat. So I was going to go down solo. But now with my back, I need to take it easy. If I feel better tomorrow, I'll work (gently) on my '61 and hopefully fire it up. Have fun guys!

I went to the Early Bird swap meet yesterday (Saturday) and it was O.K. not a whole lot that I was interested in but a decent crowd. Didn't see anyone there I recognized, were you there QC? Since we've never met I wouldn't have recognized you anyway. I was with my brother down at the southeast corner near the guy who was selling all the new bumpers. Anyway it was a good time, sunny and not too cold.

I was there. I agree, not much there I couldn't live without. It seems like 90% was Chevy stuff.

Was it billed as a Ford swap meet? Heck, then even my brother was one of those non-Ford scoundrels! The one March 12 should be fun, especially the MNG.

Well, I think it started years ago by a Model T club. I don't know if they still call it a Ford swap or not, but it used to be that way. Too bad really as every swap is flooded with Chevy stuff. It's hard to find that kind of thing anymore.

Comet sorry to hear about your back man... Take it easy and get better quick. You going solo on 3/12? I'm assuming your still going to that one.
