Re: No turning back now....
Got some grinding , and priming done.
Had a couple small rust holes, decided to cut them out.
Old V.S New
I'm thinking of doing some seam sealer along the gaps, maybe keep some
of the crud out of the sensitive areas.
Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!

Okay I'm back after a busy winter, I know you guys think I've been slacking, but I did get something accomplished.
Did some prep work on the cab mounts.
Sealed off the gaps with seam sealer.

Re: No turning back now....
Thanks to Performance Machine here in "IF" my heads look
amazing, can't wait to see them in action.
And my new exhaust manifolds showed up.
After I'm finished paying off the "KGB"... I mean the IRS,
I'll get the rest of the motor in. Hopefully the block is in good shape.

I did, however have the unfortunate experience of the "Automatic spark plug ejection" in the old 97 Expedition.
Along with the 6.0 Power Stroke, Not one of Fords crowning achievements!
What really grinds my gears is the fact that I had just changed the oil, and filled it with fuel!
Soooo here I am siphoning all the gas into my wife's FJ.

Alden Miller is one of the two FE guys in the US that really know their stuff. Thank goodness you didn't take it to Troy's machine. They are horrible. Good luck with you bump!

Yeah there's no such thing as "direct fit replacement". The suppliers all claim this but there's always differences.

Got a brother in law in Rigby, I was warned. I didn't have to ask around for long, even the chevy guys agree Alden is the man.
