Looks like you have a different transmission and carburetor than I have so the kick down rod and linkage may be different. The priciple is the same, just the linkage may be different. To get the right one you'll have to figure out what carburetor and transmission combination you have.

This was probably a bit too hard for me to get to. Feels like there are many different ways that could be what the carburetor and transmission combination to have. I do not know what it looked like before I got the car home so this will probably be difficult. Hard to find the drawing in which the brace I need and how it will sit in my car. I thought that all 390 had the same kickdown system. But not.

Probably a C6 transmission. The carburetor looks like it's a Holley? Reference this page and see if you can identify it? http://www.carburetion.com/carbid.htm
