I'm much happier with how it sits now. New trucks look good level. But I think these old trucks need a little bit of rake to em :)

Looks great as is. Love the simplicity of the exterior, but I find it irresistible to be the model for some modification project.

Owned her 17 years.

Rebuilt everything that can be rebuilt.

Many Mod's,... biggest being adding the Advanced Adapter's 2 speed gearbox in front of the NP-435.

That thing is sweet! Is it sitting on 35s? I've been throwing around the idea of bigger tires.
What's the two speed gearbox? A spliter?

Thanks!!!!

Yes they are 35" s....If I turn to far to the right they do scrub alittle.

The AA gear box is like a Splitter. The 2 speeds are 1:1 (Direct) and 27% overdrive. So,... now I have 8 forward gears and 2 reverse gears. I call them "Half" gears. The advantage is that I tow a heavy trail trailer over a steep mountain pass here in WA state. I can't maintain speed in 4th gear and there is such a wide gear ratio spread between 3-4th that downshifting to 3rd has the RPM's wa'aaay up there. Now I downshift to 3 1/2 gear ;-)

Also, when running empty on the highway I use 4 1/2 for better cruising.

You have to move the NP-435 back 7 1/2 inches, shorten the intermediate shaft, relocate the 435 cross member, relocate the location of the 435 and transfer case shifters, etc... like I said it's a big project.
