Jack handle storage?

Post by cdnwillyg »

Need a little info here about how the handle for the jack is stored under the seat. I got a jack and handle from a 67 so I'm hoping it fits under the seat of my 68, but it seems a little long and I have no tie down clips so a pic would be awesome please. :D

Sorry Pat my bad! The green u shaped clip coming thru the carpet is the wheel wrench holder...no got that yet.
The two clips that hold the jack handle down were actual still in my parts, good thing.

Let me know if you find a source for the clips/hold downs.

Is it a different location for those of us that have seats that won’t flip forward? I found mine in engine compartment next to radiator.

Does it have clips or brackets? If so do you mind posting a pic? Mine is just sitting there loose.

Well just found my clips behind the seat buried in dirt and trash. It makes sense when the seat does not fold forward that getting to the tools would be aggravating thus placing it in the engine compartment would be a good idea.
