mytmatt.. the final fee, in addition to the listing fee is a percentage of the final sale price. That's why some sellers do a low sale price, and high shipping.

Same total price, but results in a lower fee to ebay.

i didn't mean to say it was ok to rip ebay off. they just seem so shady to me. thats why i've never sold anything on there. i have bought stuff. but they just keep going around pricing questions when i email them. and the paypal thing from what i heard is another deal that i should watch out for. i don't trust them at all. i heard all bed stuff from being charged for stuff and getting messed around by paypal. none of what i have been told is from first hand experience. it all from what i heard from others.i don't agree on hyping the shipping to make up for lost profits. or to steal. if you can't take a loss then put a reserve on your item.
