So I was cleaning the truck and saw a bare, floss-sized wire hanging from under the dash. I pulled it and it just kept coming. Turns out, it was coming out of the light switch. Now my instrument lights are completely dead and the headlamps flicker at times.
How badly did I screw up. Anyone else ever run into this?

I'm also wonering where the mounting nut is for the switch.
I found the pin to press to remove the knob, got the wiring harness removed, but can't find that darn nut.
I'm considering wrapping new wire around that rehostat I unspooled and maybe that'll work.
