turn signal

Post by 1970FordTK »

Ok newbie question time, I have check and replaced all the bulbs in the lighting system. Everything works expect the left turn signal, both lights on that side light up but no flashing. Just light up and stay on. The four way flashers work and the right turn signal works, seems slow but it does work. I have everything else working expect this for the lights, any ideas? :?

Your flasher's bad. The turn signal system and the 4 way system each have their own flasher.

I would guess the turn signal switch in the column.

Thanks for the info guys, where is the second flasher located ?

The factory a/c stuff is in the way to look under the passenger side for it. I know where the easy one behind the cigar lighter area is dang thing was hanging below the dash when I got it.

I love this place, questions answered in under an hour :fr:

Right where you said it was, and it was the problem. Going to replace the instrument panel lights while I'm in there. Thanks.
