I've never felt more welcome.. Thanks guys :D
As for the 460, I'll probably leave it as my brother has a fresh C6 and another early block that I could build. He's currantly running a 514 that he build is his 69 Mach1. That motor made 643 ft.lbs. and 550 hp on the dyno. That would be a lot of fun in the truck...
Here's another pic. Can't wait till it get's here

I'll post some pics when it gets here..

My inspiration. Saw this truck at the track a few weeks ago and fell in love. He's running 11.5 1/4 times with a small block.

Welcome from NY. Where in Ct? I'm in Croton, NY about 45 mins. west and south in Danbury. There are not too many northeasterners here.

I was hoping you'd be closer.
Since I bought my '70 in Feb, '06, I have seen 6 others on the road in NY, NJ, Ct, or Ma. RUST!

looks good in pics.
Actually pretty solid just there's been a lot of butch'n mechanically that needs to be fixed.
I've decided the 460's out. It's a 75/76 out of a car. long tailshaft C6.
Putting a rebuilt 360 in for now. Will build another FE later. still going to run a C6. Just need to find one. The Cali mustang sale set me back a bit. But couldn't pass on some of the deals. :D

Welcome,

I love these trucks, I think of mine as a mustang with a really big trunk...

But sell a Cobra? Say it isn't so...

I enjoy the build more than the ride. Sold my 68 mustang conv. to build the Cobra. Limited to the time of year to cruise around with no roof. either to hot, to cold or raining. It would be nice to have a hardtop again.
Heat, A/C, dry......
Not to mention I could build 3 bumpsides for what I got tied up in the car..
