Took the 14" air cleaner off and drilled out the holes for mounting the hardware for the air breather.
Then took my son around the neighborhood selling Cub Scout popcorn.

I installed the windshield washer hoses. I am trying to scare up the motivation to replace the headlight switch later this evening. I want to watch the new Ken Burns special, so I may not get to it.

Washed it, put the hubcap back on that everyone kept asking me if I had lost.
And found out my tapping noise was only a couple of loose spark plugs.

This weekend I drove my truck to the auto parts store and Lowes twice to get parts for the Jeep I'm working on, I also filled it's tank.

No real truck work on the agenda, too many high priority projects!

I say shorten the frame. Then you'd have something Ford (as I understand) never made: an F250 shortbed. But that's just me.

got my drum brakes replaced over the weekend. I didnt have time or experience to do it so the shop did it. Turns out the thumping noise in the right front was the adjuster had come loose and was getting caught between the shoe and drum and was causing alot of braking problems. They also replaced the radius arm bushings. Next on the agenda is a new 3 gauge pack temp, oil pressure, and volt to replace the old ones in my truck.
no truck just a merkur...
