Went Shopping

Post by Wes »

Well Saturday I was redoing the return line to my remote power steering/brake reservoir, and I noticed the front left tire had separated. This tire was so bad I couldn't drive the truck around the block w/o losing my fillings.. So I bit the bullet and got some 37 12.50 mil spec Hummer take offs I found on CL , I also picked a np205 to replace my Dana 24. I spent a few dollars, got got the T-case at fair price, the tires @ normal for this area. I will get 1 more for a spare. Next time this beast needs tires I hope to upgrade to 18" rims w/ 37's.
The 37's seem to work well with 4.56 ring and pinion, no freeway yet. Will hit the highway after I dial in the alignment and get a steering stabilizer.

Nice! How much lift do you have? Any clearance issues?

I added 4" skyjacker springs front and rear w/ factory blocks in rear. I think at max flex, the fronts might hit the front corners. I haven't had a chance to "exercise" her.
