Hey sharkdance,

When did you get into my truck and take pictures?  One nice thing about frying my wiring harness might just be redoing it making it all nice and clean and tight.

Hehe, Welp, My question would be why did you let it get so screwed up?

slopjockey: <"Man, that scared the Hell out of me!">

LOL, Yea, me too!

FORDification: <"That header-to-starter clearance IS pretty tight. I think I'd highly suggest using some sort of heat shield or wrap around the start to protect it">

Yup Yup, Exactly what Im gonna do. Im looking at a roll of header wrap just to keep the starter insulated from the heat. Dunno if thats what took out the old starter but anything I can do to keep it from happening again is worth it.

As for the wiring mess under the dash I have some issues to work out.
Ive spent a couple of days trying to sort it out and so far have the brake lights working and everything else seems to be OK. Cept its still a mess under there. My patch job on this wiring harness is just temporary though.
My real solution is to complete my cab swap from my doner truck (72 F100)
Believe it or not, my doner truck has an unmolested wiring harness. But I still need to weld in some floor pans before I actualy do the swap.
Im VERRY limited on funds so that is going to be a slow process.
