Just swapped a '49 flatmotor into dad's '48 tudor. Got her running today. Set up a couple of milkcrates and took it out on the pavement for run. Hit 60 before we turned around :D
He said it was just like an old stockcar he once drove, except for the glass...

Good afternoon Mike!

Those are great photos of a truly interesting car. Do you happen to have any video clips of it running? I'd find hearing its engine fascinating, since I've never heard a flathead run. I've heard that their sound is quite distinctive!
