Here we go again...

Post by mk »

:woohoo: 5 more inches of white stuff! Sent up from Montana, no less. Melting quickly, but not quickly enough for the young lady who spun out in the heavy slush a quarter mile down the road and ended up sliding backwards down a thirty foot slope and through the barb wire into a low spot in a neighbor's field. Was able to drag her windstar out and across the pasture to the road with my '89 4x4. Gotta love springtime here...

Wow, it's almost June, and you're still getting snow. We Californians are so spoiled... Just another 75* sunny day here in the SF Bay area.

I almost envy you. It is 86 here and very humid. I am soaking wet from working on caging up my tomato plants. Then again I have several tomatoes that will be ready to eat in about a week so I am not that envious after all. lol Nothing tastes better than a home grown Mater!
I am surprised to see snow still up your way though.

Sucks to be you. Ontario is plenty cold enough for me.

Nothing surprises me with the weather any more. A couple weeks ago we had night time temps in the high 30's. Last few days it's been in low 70's at night.

I'm not ashamed to say I am jealous. Been in the 90's here this weekend, and the hot wind blowing doesn't really help. I guess summer is pretty much here

It's not exactly predictable from year to year, Robert, but we can usually count on at least one final fling in may/june after a normally mild april. Some years it's more than one fling  Got to have a sense of humor to deal with this stuff...
At least we don't worry about earthquakes; we do get twisters, though.
