ah haha chevy strikes again

Post by fordman »

i just had a guy call me asking if my 351m was a big block or small block 351. i had to explain to him the words big block and small block were chevy words and that for used 335 and 385 series as the names for thier motors. he then asked if it would bolt up in place of a 351w and i had to say no. the 351m would fit. so i lost that opertunity. oh well. atleast we didnt waste each others time too much.

Whats bad is all the aftermarket sources call a windsor motor a small block ford. Go to the parts store & try to get a set of plugs for a 302 windsor & they will look at you like you're stupid.

I went to the parts store and asked if the had a timing light and they looked at me like I was stupid. The "associate" pointed to an ailse and said "the light bulbs are over there".
