New tech page: Factory Wiring Diagrams

Post by FORDification »

Well, I've finally gotten started on getting a comprehensive collection of wiring diagrams posted to the site, in addition to the '67 diagrams previously posted. I just finished up scanning all the '70 diagrams, and then decided to go ahead and give all wiring-related downloads their own page, to make it easier to find. I also posted several other individual scans that I've received via e-mail.

Just a word of warning....in order to keep the readability of the diagrams as high as possible, the scans are fairly large in size. Like with the '67 diagrams, you'll have to do a little scrolling to check out the whole thing. Also, as before, I've had to resort to putting a site watermark across the scans to discourage other sites from linking to them as their own. I've tried to make the watermarks as unobtrusive as possible, but unfortunately they're a necessity.

So anyway, here you go....

For future reference, I've linked to this page from the site's front page, from the site index and from the Tech and Tutorials page.

wiring a new wiper switch

Post by septembercamaro »

I know this is the wrong year for this forum. But I am hoping someone can help. We bought a 89' bronco fullsize from someone. They put a toggle switch in the place of the wiper switch. Now we bought the switch but have no idea what color wire from the plug-in goes to what color of the wires hanging down from the original switch. We have tried the manuals you buy from advance auto and places like that but they don't help with the colors.

When all else fails I check the public library system.
If at first you don't succeed. Get another beer.
