Hope you can hold on to that 49, Barry. I suspect it'll be just as slippery as the other 'holding' numbers like 21, 29, 39 etc :P Guess I'll have to admit to the early 40's club like Keith but that doesn't mean I have to
like it. I know what you mean, Liz, about getting that mental picture of someone, then finding out their age. Kind of like meeting a radio DJ in person.

You should be healed up from branding by now. I was a professional calf wrestler, sort of. I was recruited far and wide during branding season and even paid, although I never ask for money. I wish I was still able to do that stuff. I even wrote a poem about the calf wrestler.

Yea but I get to dread the fun day next year 8) . I get the fun job of pushing them (we use a calf table. We should be working cows in a month or 2. The we are calving 11 heifers out that were AI'd. Thats why I have mostly sheep (registered columbias) the are a bit smaller and easier to work with (I still love the cows though.

I'm 44, and woulda taken alot better care of myself in my younger days if I'd have thought I was going to survive this long! (I'd have also gotten my kick only Sporty converted to electronic ignition sooner.. before both knees got blown out) Now the ground looks alot further away and alot harder when I'm horseback, the rocks seem to be growing!

I disconnected the odometer three years ago at 32.

- JD (and if I keep editing this post, I won't get any older)

I'll be 44 in December. Seems like I was 21 just yesterday... who the hell pushed the fast forward button on my life?

I turned 43 August 6th and I'm a DJ on the radio, so picture me how you will. My wife and I just bought a bar so it may be career change time. Signing the radio station on in the morning and the bar off at night is killing me. It's also cutting into my beer drinking.
