2wd should i lift or do a 4x4 swap?

i have a 2wd 1967 ford f100 ranger/ camper special with a 352 FE engine......i have heard this truck is rare......should i just lift it and put 35"tires on it or should i do a 4x4 swap.....allso for a 4x4 swap what would i need to swap and from what year truck to mine

It ain't rare.

Converting a 2WD to a 4WD is doable but it's alot of work. Most will say simply get a 4x4 to start with.

Read these for background.. the principles are the same. Then evaluate if you have the time, facilities, tools, money, and know-how.

When I did mine, I had a 70 2wd and a 68 4wd. It was pretty easy to put the 70 body on the 68 frame. I used my engine puller to swap everything. The cab was the hardest part.
