license plate light

Post by Guero »

I need ideas about making a license plate light work on a 1970 F 100. All tail lights work, turn signals and side markers. New bulb has been installed, still no license plate light. Not a problem unless I want to go somewhere after about six oclock, still...
Any ideas?

Hot-wire it into the same wire that runs from the leftside tail light to the right side one, that way when you turn on your tail lights, your license plate light also comes on. Thats what I did at least. Also, welcome to the forums! Where bouts in TX u at? There's quite a few of us round the DFW area.
