69 F100 S/S

The original color of the truck was a lighter green. I picked this truck up with the BB conversion and disk brake conversion already complete and running for 3K. Thought I did pretty good. LOL! then I spent 20K more on it and still going...never ends!
I am going to run another heim joint across the top bolt to triangulate to address the flex issues for sure. Thanks!

Been awhile since I have been able to post some updates. I am working on the frame. I changed the shock mounts, crass braced the back end. I am boxing the frame and utilizing dimple dies where I can. I will update more as I progress![

So, I got the front leaf spring cross-member in place. Cut the rear cab mount cross-member apart and boxed them in. Triangulated off of them for the roll bar to mount to in the cab of the truck. I don't think I like the straight piece in front of the triangulated leaf spring cross-member. I think I will cut it back out and install a couple more pieces to triangulate. Lots to keep the frame from flexing. and these thing were designed to flex!

Been slowly working at it. Put things together, tear it apart. put it back together.....lots of mocking up to do!

That is looking nice!! Saw your forum name and thought Foxbody...then I see a fox in the back ground. I sold mine to build my truck. I have had several foxbodies and probably will again. Again looking good!!

Got a little bit done, working my way forward with the frame. Hood is turning out great as well!

Got a little more done. Removed the radius arm x-member. Fabbed up a new 1.625" X .156 wall x-member and started bracing it in. The greatest part about this new X-member is that I will be able to pull the transmission pan with no interference. Anyways, small progress is still progress.


I finished up triangulating the rear area. Shouldn't twist anymore!

Looking really good on the tube work. I hope to plate my frame like that with the holes too. I see you havnt touched the front end, whats the plan there?

I did the DJM lowered I-Beams. I really like the smaller rim/tire combo. Plus, I already did the lowering kit before I really looked into the CV swap. The rear is going to be a 15X10 wide rim with a 5" offset. So, deep dish and I think it might look funny with the taller / positive offset rims up front. It will sport 295/55/15 drag radials out back and 225/60/15 up front. At least that's what I am thinking for now...

Got the through frame brake line connectors completed. Had to fabricate a recessed bung for the drivers side
