I agree....congrats on getting one of the best investments a guy can make, IMO. Show us some pics when you can, too...sounds like a nice truck!

Nice find there!

Wonder why the paint behind the cab is pink while the rest of it is red?

That "refugee" camper shell has got to go!

It really brings the look of the truck down.

Come on now, the camper is what makes the truck  Trust me that is the first thing that is coming off. I might even unbolt it and pull away real fast and dump it in his driveway so that they will have something to remember it by. As far as the colors go, I'm not sure why the cab corner is pink. The only thing I can figure is that the white has ran down onto the red and it all faded together to make pink. That is the first thing my 4 yr old daughter noticed was the pink color! Here is another picture from the rear drivers side. Also look in front of the camper and you will see my other pride and joy F350 CC DRW 4x4 Powerstroke.

How do you like that 6.0 Powersmoke?

Experience any problems with it yet?

I have 61k miles on her and all I have had to do was replace the EGR valve. I had a 7.3 before this one and I had problems with the Crank Positioning Sensor (CPS). Both are great motors but the 6.0 definately has more power!

Scott, consider yourself lucky The 6.0's have a 50% comeback/failure rate!

Yeah hard to believe isn't it, but it true...My brother is a 20+ year Senior Master Heavy Line/Diesel Tech for FORD. The 6.0 was to be the savior powerplant to replace the 7.3 but Impatient/Hastily engineering from FORD/IH resulted in the "Perfect Diesel Engine" to not be even close to mediocre. My Brother spends the majority of his time doing warranty work on those pesky 6.0's. Good news is on the horizon I guess their finally gittin' their S%&# together because the new 6.6 Powerplant is supposed to beat the crap out of the Cummins Engine!
If you are having relatively good luck with yours then I would not change a thing on it cause you might jinx it!

'03 had a mixture of both engines and by '04 the 7.3 was long gone.
