I have a 1968 F-100 with a 428 and a C-6 automatic and 3.25 open rear end in it. I want to put a 4 speed top loader into it. I am in the preliminary phases of planning this project. Is there particular version of the transmission/tailshaft housing I should look for? Any advice the gurus on this forum can provide me would be greatly appreciated. I want to make this happen with the least amount of fuss possible.
