Color code for white bumpers/grille

Post by jtw46 »

Does anyone know the color name or paint code number for the white that was used on 1968 F100 painted bumpers and grille? Thank you for your response.

Check other posts. I think the guys on here say this paint was Corinthian White, while Wimbledon White was used for body panels.

I did a search on other forums as 3 speed suggested and the answers were all over the place such as
"Standard Cab hubcaps were not painted body color, they were painted Colonial White, which is a 'bright' white. This color was used 1948/69 for hubcaps, grilles, bumpers.

Exterior aka body colors: Corinthian White (code M) used 1961/63, Pure White (code C) 1964/68, Wimbledon White (code M) was introduced in 1964."
No one quoted actual Ford references so I am not posting the above quote as fact. Thank you for your suggestions,

Dig through the color chips in the homepage as well as the brochures...

One of them has a note on it that says that all bumpers and grills were _____ even if the body was another white. I know I’ve seen the note but can’t find it now.

My wheels and bumpers are the same color - a slightly yellow/beige off-white, which seems to correspond with Corinthian White. See the image in my signature.

My truck is a 67 Custom Cab, which came with painted bumpers, regular hubcabs, painted wheels, but with the bright aluminum grille and chrome around the windshield.
