360/390 intake heater "Y" steel fitting

Post by basketcase0302 »

Guys (and gals),

I have a local bump owner who reached out to me asking for this part, (I had one but apparently sold it already) and know most are rusted like he describes his is.

Looking for the steel heater hose fitting that screws into the intake manifold where the two heater hoses connect to, ("Y shaped" that has about a one inch nipple that goes down into the water jacket on the intake manifold. Believe it is part number 18495 in the top of this image but the image does not look like it.
Did I miss something as I don't remember anyone reproducing these. :hmm:

Just for clarification, are you talking about 9A455 or 18599 seen in the upper left hand, where the two hoses come together in the Y shaped fitting that screws into the intake manifold? http://www.fordification.com/tech/image ... e_FE02.jpg If that is what your talking about, I would be interested in a part number for that as well, I haven't seen one availible.

I’ve got one or two of them in a box somewhere but I can find them this weekend if anyone is still looking for one.

Yes, that's it. I'm guessing someone who could mig or tig weld well could make a small fortune by repoping these.
