I never even thought about it being for a camper. But it very well could have been because it did have a sliding rear window.

Got the holes around the back window ground down. you can barely tell there were holes there!

I finally got the rear crossmember out. Someone had welded the top lip to the underneath of the frame rail where it was almost impossible to get to. But I was able to get a small air grinder back far enough to cut most of the way through it, and then just wiggled it back and forth and hammered on it till the rest of the weld finally popped!
And I have no clue why anyone would weld there because all the rivets were tight so it wasn't loose, and it was only welded on one side!

I also stripped more paint off the cab floor to get ready to paint the floor and the firewall.

Then I moved on to welding up the fuel filler hole in the cab, since I am going to put a mustang tank in the back.

Here is the fuel filler all welded up. It didn't really come out super great, but I guess with a little putty it will work.

And, some treasures came from Summit racing! Since nobody makes headers specifically for a Bump351 Windsors in a Bump. I got these that are made to fit a 302. Hopefully they will work. There nothing fancy, just Summit brand, but they were the cheapest ones I could find so I figured I'd take a chance and see if they will work.

I went to the Summit racing store yesterday, and found some treasures on the sale rack where they have all of the open box, and returned items.

I found a 28oz flywheel that will work on my Windsor, and a K&N air filter. Both for half price!

And today I went to a local junkyard and looked at suspension. It's from an 03 Mercury Grand Marquis, And looks to be in pretty decent shape, and for a good price. I will be picking it up within the next few days!

I just got back from the spring Carlisle swap meet, and it was really nice out today, so I decided to get some primer sprayed in the cab

The hardest part was masking everything off!

I mixed some paint thinner with rust oleum rusty metal primer, and sprayed it with a Harbor freight spray gun, and it actually turned out pretty good!

I tried to get as much as I could shot up underneath the dash, but it was kinda hard to spray up there. Mybe i'll go and cover some more of the underneath with a rattle can if I need to.
