67 F100 Clutch linkage

Post by SBR_GUY »

So i am putting this truck back together and for some reason the clutch bar is not lining up to the brackets. Am i doing something wrong? HELP please.

The engine bracket is bolted up to the engine on the opposite side from the bellhousing and the flame bracket is bolted up to the only spot it can go right behind the steering gear box, but the pins that the bar slid on are off by about 3 inches front to back. I would add pics but i don’t know how. Does anyone have any pics they can share or a slap in the head to straighten me out.

If you are talking about the rod from the pedal to the clutch, the 67 is a one-off -- different size than the 69-72.

But you are probably working something more complicated than that!

I figured it out. I had the engine frame mounts on the forward holes, i moved it to the rear holes and behold it lines up. Lol
