C6 transmission fluid

Just wandering what everyone is using in there c6 transmission . I have heard people using almost anything .even john deere hydraulic fluid.

Several people debate newer transmission fluids vs. Type F. I have been told SEVERAL times to just use Type F. Last shop that rebuilt my C6 put in Dextron and it didn't like it. Shifted later and didn't shift down all the time. Drained it all out and pulled the torque converter to drain. Put Type F back in and it runs great.

Yeah some people act like type f is like putting a handful of sand in the transmission. The c4 in my car didn't like the dexron either but seems to love the f. Another one I heard was 10w30 motor oil . I won't try that one.
