CVF Racing Pully vbelts

Post by jgf100 »

I recently ordered v-belt pulley system for my 1970 f100 302. Didn't realize it doesn't come with belts. Reached out to customer support and they directed to gates belts site. In order to get correct belts I need the length, top width and angle. Has anyone installed this pulley system and know what belts I need? Thanks!

Have never dealt with that pulley system but can help you in another tried and true way.

Get yourself an 8' long piece of 1/2" rope. Run the rope around each belt circumference and mark it with a sharpee or tape.
Measure your overall length and take that to any REPUTABLE (prob not big box) auto parts store like NAPA and tell them that is your overall length you need.
