Rebuild Dual Piston Caliper

Post by F1Kiesel »

I just pulled apart the front disk calipers of my 68 F250 Dual piston setup. The pistons are all pitted and I want to replace them as part of the rebuild. I am trying to find a part number or place to get them and have not had any luck. Anyone been able to find them without replacing the whole caliper?

ooooof, maybe in a old master parts book? I turned mine in for rebuilt units. Even got Fomoco stamped ones back.

I rebuilt the dual piston calipers on my 76 F250 4x4 axle about a year ago. I sourced all the parts from Napa. It cost a little more for the pistons, seals, new bleeder's, etc. than I would have paid to replace with off the shelf rebuilt calipers. Hope this helps.
