C6 only engages with half throttle.

C6 only engages with half throttle.
71 390 C6, it only engages in drive or reverse when you give it at least half throttle. It will stay engaged as long as you stay in the throttle. If you let off even the slightest it disengages and feels like it is in neutral. Fluid and filter are new and full. Any help would be appreciated.

Need to get an oil pressure guage on it and see what the line pressure is… my guess is bad pump. I think you can still get the ATSG book online for it…
