Article 944 - Water Entry in Marker Lamps

TSB #51 - November 18, 1966
(1966 Truck - All Models)

Water entry into the marker lamps is due to an opening between the lens and the lamp base. This opening is caused by the front mounting screw pulling the base of the lamp away from the lamp lens.

On a customer complaint basis, on units built prior to May, 1966, this problem can be corrected by adding a bead of AB-19560-A Calking Cord approximately 6" long between the lens and lamp body as shown on the included Illus. S1145-A.
