Article 941 - Cold Engine Stall - Holley Carburetor

TSB #50 - November 4, 1966
(All 1967 Fairlane and Mustang 390-4V GT Engine Equipped Units)

Customer complaints of stall following cold engine startup may be encountered on subject units. This complaint is caused by an inadequate choke bimetallic spring torque setting. Problem correction can be obtained by revising the choke cover setting from one notch rich to three notches rich to increase this spring tension.
