Article 1004 - Circle Impressions on Rear Window

TSB #61 - March 10, 1967
(1967 Mustang - All Models Except Convertible)

Customer complaints of circle impressions ("bulls-eyes") on the inside rear glass are attributed to contaminants found on suction cups used to install the glass during production assembly. This problem was corrected on approximately December 27, 1966 by reducing the maintenance interval time on the suction cup fixtures.

These "bulls-eye" impressions occur on the left and right inside of the rear window and are most noticeable when the window is lightly fogged (as occurs during vehicle warm-up on a cold day). This condition can be corrected by cleaning the inside of the surface of the glass with a silicone body polish (Part No. B7A-19530A).
