Article 2097 - Automatic Transmission - Delayed Reverse Engagement or Erratic Kickdowns

To insure that throttle boost plates do not work out of position as described in TSB 127, article 2007C, dated November 21, 1969 causing delayed reverse and erratic kickdown problems, a special retainer and screw, 383250-5, has been released. Refer to Figure 11. The specified torque for the screw is 15 to 25 inch pounds. DO NOT OVER TORQUE.
