"Squeal" and "chirping" noise caused by a dry pilot bearing can be reduced by installing a new improved bearing.
NOTE: It is very important that the replacement bearing be soaked in SAE 30 non-detergent oil for a minimum of one-half hour. All excess oil should be wiped off the surface of the bearing prior to installation.
