I haven't drove it but for about 30 minutes,I'm having problems with it running hot.Im thinking about taking the eletric fan off and putting the flex fan back on I didn't have anyproblem when I had it on.I also set the timing at 15 degrees I may need to play with that,what did you set your timing at....

Mine's about 19, I think. I can only approximate because I have a later model harmonic balancer that doesnt exactly match up with my old timing pointer. from what I can tell, it starts at 19*, and full advance is roughly 42*. I find that if the timing is too low, the torque just isnt there like it is where I have it now. I've played with timing so many different ways, I cant even tell you how many times I've opened up the dizzy.
